The djembe is a popular African instrument that was never simply a tool for communication. Instead, the djembe was used to tell a story, and this Toca Percussion djembe will help you do just that Toca Freestyle II djembes are very lightweight, durable and suited for outdoor use. This makes them ideal for travelling musicians that often play outside - on the street, for instance, or at outdoor concerts.

The innovative Freestyle II

This 9-inch Freestyle II djembe features a traditional rope tuning system to keep the drumhead pulled taut. The head is made of synthetic material that won't stretch or dry out, so it'll stay in tune much longer than a traditional goatskin drumhead. Furthermore, Toca used even more rope to keep the head taut then usual, so overall the drumhead tension is more consistent than usual. Finally, the bottom of the djembe features a protective non-slip rubber coating.

Geweldige Djembe, met mooie klanken, mooi afgewerkt en dat voor een mooie prijs. Het was een verjaardagscadeau voor onze zoon van 8 die gek is op trommelen en hij is er super wijs mee! Precies goed qua afmeting voor zijn leeftijd, duurzaam en niet zo kwetsbaar als een Djembe die bespannen is met geitenvel. Top service ook van Bax-music!

iets groter dan ik had verwacht, maar voor een volwassen man toch net 2 centimeters te klein om een mooie bas slag mee te maken, dus als je een kleinere djembé wilt zou ik voor de 10 inch gaan. verder een erg mooie djembé,

Cadeau pour les 19 ans de mon fils qui ne peut plus faire de la batterie (en appartement...) et se trouvait en manque de musique. Il est ravi ! De plus les délais de livraison sont très courts et l'emballage soigné. A recommander.
