Backed up by over seventy years of drum-building experience, the Pearl Rope Tuned Series djembes boast a wide tuning range, so they can be set up to support solo musicians or percussion groups. The 7 inch diameter makes this djembe the smallest and most manageable in the series, and since the body has been made entirely from ABS, this djembe weighs very little, completing a seamless design that features zero weak spots. The material is also far less sensitive to extreme temperatures and humidity levels and the same can be said of the pre-fitted synthetic batter head, which has the same response and playability as a natural hide head, but can be safely played in virtually all conditions. Finished in Molton Scarlett, this djembe also brings some modern style.
