If Nino Percussion has anything to say about it, everyone gets the chance to experiment with the djembe's highly recognisable sound. With its compact size and light weight, this small Water Rhythm djembe is easy for kids to pick up and play. To create the authentic djembe sound, Nino Percussion crafted this instrument from high-quality materials and traditional production techniques. The drumhead, for instance, is made of hand-selected goatskin, and the shell is carved from a single block of mahogany. Furthermore, the goatskin head is tuned using high-quality PP nylon ropes, which have also been braided into a handy carrying strap. Finally, the decorative carvings on the shell were all applied by hand, resulting in a great overall look.
