This 10-inch Meinl Travel Series djembe is rope tuned for authentic sound and accurate tuning while shell has been made from synthetic material to keep the weight low and reduce sensitivity to fluctuating temperature and humidity levels - so this djembe can even be comfortably played outdoors. The 10-inch diameter and 20-inch depth makes for a manageable travel buddy and the construction ensures depth without compromising on higher pitched overtones. The pre-fitted synthetic batter head is tuned up via HTP nylon chords to ensure authentic sound, and the entire shell has been finished with a Galactic Blue Tie Dye print applied using eco-friendly techniques.
