Making samples for your tracks is fun and easy with the Serato Sample Plugin Scratch Card. It enables you to sample parts of songs in studio quality that you can then tweak to perfection to perfectly suit your music. Features include a fast and easy sample search tool, chopping, key-shift and time stretching. The plugin uses Pitch ‘n Time functionality to manipulate the sample. It enables you to adjust the speed of the track (from 1 to 999 BPM) without losing any audio quality. Serato Sample is a beatmaking tool that enables you to make your creative ideas a reality!

Serato DJ 1.8 Now Supported By OS X El Capitan
Monday 23 November 2015Serato has announced that their software is now supported by Apple's latest OS, El Capitan (version 10.11.1). You can download the latest version of Serato DJ here. There are still a few bugs, but Serato has indicated that they aim to fix those as soon as possible. Here you can read about the issues that still affect Pioneer, Rane, Numark, Novation and Reloop hardware. As mentioned above, Serato is working hard to fix any and all problems.

There was just one little thing: you could only use Pioneer's own Rekordbox with it. But now, that's all changed. The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
