Flip seamlessly expands the functionality and potential of Serato DJ Pro, making it possible to make quick edits without the need for a DAW, as well as simple yet effective playback, cue point recording, and censor actions. Record 'Flips' while spinning your set or produce them in Practice Mode and record up to six Flips per track without messing with the original file. All Flips are MIDI mappable for compatibility with different hardware, and a recorded Flip can be looped and automatically synchronised with the beat using the Loop Snap function. Serato DJ 1.8 Now Supported By OS X El Capitan
Monday 23 November 2015Serato has announced that their software is now supported by Apple's latest OS, El Capitan (version 10.11.1). You can download the latest version of Serato DJ here. There are still a few bugs, but Serato has indicated that they aim to fix those as soon as possible. Here you can read about the issues that still affect Pioneer, Rane, Numark, Novation and Reloop hardware. As mentioned above, Serato is working hard to fix any and all problems.

There was just one little thing: you could only use Pioneer's own Rekordbox with it. But now, that's all changed. The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
