General

Mixars calls the comprehensive Quattro mixer for Serato DJ  the missing link of 4-channel mixers. It offers 16 RGB pads, high-quality internal FX, 2 USB connections and full MIDI mapping capability! Under the bonnet, we find top-quality components as we've come to expect from the RCF Group, the company that Mixars falls under. As far as functions are concerned, the Quattro is an intuitive tool for Serato DJ. The software gives you complete control of four DVS decks.

USB, RGB, FX and MIDI

The Quattro is equipped with a dual USB port so you can connect two laptops at once. It also features an extremely practical range of 16 RGB pads for triggering hot cues and samples. And, let's not forget the four effects, namely Filter, Noise, Gate and Crush, which are all assignable per individual channel. The FX section offers an additional 14 effects as well. What's more, this mixer offers MIDI mapping too! Whether you're a Serato DJ fan or a DVS user, the Quattro has everything you need!

Professional DJ mixer

This DJ mixer is inspired by its predecessor, the DUO, but has a lot more to offer. It's been optimised for seamless integration with Serato in its own special way, which makes it a unique player in the competitive, professional DJ market. You don't need to be a professional to take full advantage of this mixer, but the quality is nothing short of top-notch. Mixars have equipped the Quattro with functions galore, a robust metal housing, and a variety of inputs and outputs that ensure a high-grade signal transfer.

NAMM 2016: RCF and dB Technologies Present Spin-Off Mixars

Thursday 21 January 2016 By Lizanne

The last couple weeks, we've only seen online teasers of the new brand, Mixars. Apparently, the brain behind this company is in Italy at dB Technologies! It's therefore pretty remarkable that this brand is announcing their debut in a time where the DJ market seems pretty over-saturated as it is. It's been years since a serious DJ brand appeared out of nowhere, and the Italians sure seems determined to succeed with their entry-level product range and is ready to take on some heavy competition.
