General

The MXR-4 is an optimal example of an efficient four-channel DJ mixer with built-in effects. Its standard layout is everything we'd expect from a mixer that works simply and intuitively. The MXR-4 is equipped with four channel faders, each of which is linked to a channel with 3-band EQ, input selection, gain, cue button and crossover assignment. With the integrated DSP effects module, you can give any mix a creative edge.

Construction and features

The MXR-4 is a durable device with a rugged, full-metal housing which makes it ideal for mobile use. Its black brushed finish gives it a stylish yet sober appearance. Heavy-duty 60mm channel faders ensure perfectly-adjusted volume transitions, and there is ample space left around the crossfader so nothing can get in your way while you're working.

Hardware and luxury

Balanced XLR outputs, double headphone outputs, a whole range of phono and line inputs, a USB interface - what more could you possibly need? The MXR-4 has everything the modern DJ requires. There is even a talk-over function available on two of the mic inputs that enables you to lower the volume level as soon as your MC wants to address the audience. The effects section is equipped with auto BPM so you can sync them to existing beats!

Mixars MXR-4 four-channel DJ mixer
Wrote the following about Mixars MXR-4 four-channel DJ mixer
Verder leuke mixer.

NAMM 2016: RCF and dB Technologies Present Spin-Off Mixars

Thursday 21 January 2016 By Lizanne

The last couple weeks, we've only seen online teasers of the new brand, Mixars. Apparently, the brain behind this company is in Italy at dB Technologies! Yes, that's right. dB Technologies is known for a countless number of smooth-sounding active loud speakers. It's therefore pretty remarkable that this brand is announcing their debut in a time where the DJ market seems pretty over-saturated as it is. It's been years since a serious DJ brand appeared out of nowhere, and the Italians sure seems determined to succeed with their entry-level product range and is ready to take on some heavy competition.
