Rane TTM57MKII DJ mixer for Serato DJ
Product no: 9000-0016-1389 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Rane's TTM57MK2 is a plug-and-play mixer that is able to support one or two computers, DVS, the Serato SP-6 sample player, software effects and plenty of record and playback channels. The TTM57MKII stays true to the design of its predecessor - the TTM57SL - which was introduced in 2006 as the first mixer with a built-in USB sound card and Serato software controls. Rane stopped manufacturing the original TTM57SL in 2013, due to its outdated USB 1.0 sound card.

Features

The TTM57MKII has a similar workflow to the MK1 version, but features a number of subtle enhancements and adjustments with regards to performance and software integration. Software controls are triggered by silicone RGB backlit pads, which correspond with the cue points in your Serato DJ software or are assigned to the SP-6 sampler. The mixer boasts a number of interesting features like toggle slip, instant double, internal mode, censor and transform, dedicated auto loop & loop roll controls with backlighting, and the familiar iZotope FX controls. Naturally, Rane's patented magnetic non-contact faders - ultra-precise and durable, with a similar design as the Innofader - are present too.

Accessories

The TTM57MKII features Rane's dual USB port, which means you can easily switch between two DJs. Both USB ports are class-compliant and capable of streaming 20 channels of low-latency audio at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz. The Rane DJ mixer comes with Serato DJ software, a USB cable, two Serato control vinyls and two control CDs.

Tips or comments about this product
  • Please note: the Rane TTM57MKII is supplied with the full version of Serato DJ, a Serato DJ software installation CD, a USB cable and two Serato control vinyls and two CDs.

NAMM 2016: RCF and dB Technologies Present Spin-Off Mixars

Thursday 21 January 2016 By Lizanne

The last couple weeks, we've only seen online teasers of the new brand, Mixars. Apparently, the brain behind this company is in Italy at dB Technologies! Yes, that's right. dB Technologies is known for a countless number of smooth-sounding active loud speakers. It's therefore pretty remarkable that this brand is announcing their debut in a time where the DJ market seems pretty over-saturated as it is. It's been years since a serious DJ brand appeared out of nowhere, and the Italians sure seems determined to succeed with their entry-level product range and is ready to take on some heavy competition.
