A great set, this Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 with Sennheiser HD 25-1 II headphones. The Traktor Kontrol Z2 is Native Instruments' ultimate weapon on the DJ mixer battlefield. With subtle controllerism influences and mainly analogue technology, the Z2 is quite an impressive feat. It features an aluminium housing, an Innofader fader and various functions that make intensive mixing easy and fun. Two timecode vinyl records are included! In combination with the high-quality Sennheiser headphones, this makes this set irresistible to any self-respecting DJ!
Traktor Kontrol Z2, F1 and X1 combination
The Z2, F1 and X1 can be perfectly combined in a fusion setup. The Z2 then serves as a powerful base station that does not only mix the signals, but also partly controls Traktor and provides a USB connection thanks to its built-in USB hub. The Kontrol F1 controls the Remix Decks, while the Z2 takes care of Macro FX, control of other effects and even cue point selection.
Sennheiser headphones
The high-quality Sennheiser HD 25-1 II can produce great high tones and they have an extremely robust construction. They are great for studio monitoring or testing audio equipment and, of course, heavy-duty DJing operations! The rotatable capsule allows you to listen to your mix with one ear, while listening to the sound in the room with the other.

Traktor est un logiciel complet et cette table a tous ce qu'il faut pour le contrôler.
Petit plus, son hub usb intégré est très pratique pour connecter d'autre contrôleur.

Na 30 jaar de HD 25-1 gebruikt te hebben, overigens nog steeds werkende, toch een nieuwe aangeschaft. Klinkt fantastisch, goed hoorbaar dat na 30 jaar de geluidskwaliteit wat afneemt dus erg blij met de nieuwe. Voelt alleen wat stroef aan op het hoofd. Op naar de volgende 30 jaar!
Na veel zoeken naar de ideale dj headphones dan toch maar gegaan voor de industry standard. Ben zeer aangenaam verrast door het geluid wat deze hoofdtelefoon kan weergeven. Heb even getwijfeld tussen de deze en de HD8. het geluid is echt geweldig in alle toonaarden. Zeker ook de bouwkwaliteit is dik in orde en aangezien dat zowel alles te vervangen valt zeker een meerwaarde.
Heb ondertussen de velour pads erop gezet, aangezien het leer toch wat plakkerig kan aanvoelen na enige tijd deze op te hebben. Merk zelf geen verschil in geluid tussen de velour of de leren pads.
Zowel voor bij mijn dj gear als dagelijks gebruik met een smarthpone aan te raden.
Enige minpuntjes dat ik eraan zou kunnen vinden is het feit dat je slechts één kant kunt roteren en dat hij niet opvouwbaar is voor makkelijker transport in een kleine case.
Ben benieuwd hoelang deze het gaan uithouden maar heb er alle vertrouwen in dat ze de beloftes kunnen waarmaken op vlak van kwaliteit.
Ben meer fan van over the ear headphones vandaag mijn twijfel tussen deze en de HD8, maar zeker geen verkeerde keuze geweest om voor deze te gaan. Zeer aangenaam verrast door het draagcomfort.

Friday 20 November 2015Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.
