IK Multimedia is mainly known for the modern gadgets for musicians that make the use of iOS devices easy and fun. IK Multimedia is now going down a different path and focuses on DJs too! The DJ Rig iRig Mix is a central mixer that mixes the signals of two iOS table tops. The iRig Mix can be compared with a scratch mixer, making it ideal for scratching. Thanks to the high touch sensitivity of iPad and iPhone, you can give away a great scratching performance, no problem! The iRig Mix supports two decks per iOS device, so you can even use a four-deck system. Luckily, the iRig Mix is also compatible with Android devices.

The mixer is equipped with two channels, an iOS device is connected to each of the channels via a 3.5 mm jack plug connector. Subsequently, the sound can be easily manipulated via the two-band equalizer and gain per channel. It also has a relatively long fader per channel, that can even withstand intensive use. A supple crossfader makes switching between channels very easy.
It is also fitted with a mono/stereo switch, which allows you to select a 2x mono or 1x stereo output of your iOS device. This means that you can switch between 2 decks on one iOS device! A four-deck system has never been this compact! Inputs and outputs of the iRig Mix
The DJ Rig iRig Mix is equipped with two RCA outputs, making it easy to connect to a stereo installation or PA system. This means that it isn't just a nice gadget for use at home, it would also work for a modern lounge! The headphone connector makes it possible to pre-listen per iPad, so that you can even beatmix.

Ik gebtruik hem op vakantie en in de huiskamer in verschillende combinaties:
Laptop met NI AudioDj 2 MK2 en NI X1 MK2 en PA-systeem, Traktor 2.7.4
Samsung tablet met Cross DJ android en een Pioneer XW-BTSP1 bluetooth speaker (15 W) en GP PowerBank ; 100 % mobiel voor 8 uur!
Dit laaatste setje past in een 6pack koeltasje van Coleman

Ik gebruik hem om de zwakke output van mobieltje en i-pad op te draaien.
Ook handig als de hoge of lage tonen niet voldoen...met de irig mix is dat simpel te regelen.
En dat voor een klein prijsje..
Ik heb er gelijk nog een besteld!
En de levering was zoals gewoon bij Bax SUPER!
Hij was lekker snel binnen.
Het werkt best goed, ik gebruik hem met mijn laptop & Virtual DJ.
Werkt allemaal best goed, alleen kan de behuizing iets beter ipv plastic.
Ik heb deze mixer nu een paar weken en ik ben er erg tevreden over.
Hoewel ik zelf geen Ipod of Ipad heb, gebruik ik hem om een laptop en een CD speler op een auto versterker te kunnen aan sluiten.
Waarom ik een autoversterker gebruik? Ik heb er een aantal op de plank liggen in diverse vermogens, en waarom zou ik dan een PA versterker kopen?
Een potige voeding koop je tegenwoordig voor een paar tientjes,
Werkt perfect! Goede bas en treble regeling met een heel ruim bereik, en een instelbare gain maakt deze mixer heel geschikt voor de budged DJ die alles met 3.5 mm jack pluggen wil kunnen aansluiten.
De meeste andere mixers werken met alleen tulp en 6 mm jackpluggen.
Mixer heeft een zeer laag eigen ruisniveau en zit jammer genoeg niet in een metalen kast, maar het kunststof is toch degelijk genoeg.
De schuiven voelen goed aan, even als de overige knoppen.
En Ik heb nu de mogelijkheid om beat sinc te kunnen mixen met een koppeltje Ipods mocht ik dit willen.
en alles past in een klein koffertje dus makkelijk mee te nemen.

When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. There are still a few bugs, but Serato has indicated that they aim to fix those as soon as possible.
