The HD7 DJ are powerful Sennheiser headphones, that are well suited for years of intensive use by producers and DJs. These closed headphones are equipped with ear-enveloping earpads that adequately filter out ambient sounds and allow you to only enjoy the crystal-clear sound of the solid drivers. With an SPL of 155 dB, these headphones are capable of a high sound pressure, more than enough to effortlessly keep track of your mix in the loudest club settings. The light emphasis of basses and mids ensures that you will always be able to stay in the groove.

HD7 DJ: comfort

The HD7 DJ headphones offer a lot of wearing comfort, thanks to the soft materials that are used for the headband and earpads. The foldable construction allows you to turn the HD7 DJ into a very compact unit. The earpads can be rotated 210 degrees, so that you can keep one ear peeled for the sound in the room. Wrote the following about Sennheiser HD7 DJ headphones

Ik heb deze koptelefoon nu een paar weken in gebruik. En heb er nog geen seconde spijt van gehad. Het geluid is helder en met een stevige bass (maar ook weer niet teveel). Verder zit de koptelefoon comfortabel, alleen na een lange tijd (+4 uur) kun je er wat last van krijgen doordat de koptelefoon een beetje op je oren drukt. De bouw kwaliteit is super zoals je van sennheiser kan verwachten. (Heb vaker koptelefoons gehad van sennheiser) Kortom: super koptelefoon waarbij je betaald voor kwaliteit

Wrote the following about Sennheiser HD7 DJ headphones

Ik had een wauw effect bij het openen van de doos, keurig verzorgde verpakking en inhoud.
Er zitten twee kabels in de doos, een spiraal en een gewone. Om te djn is de spiraal vooral handig, maar een spiraal weegt nogal zwaar tov een gewone kabel. Erg fijn dat beiden er bij zijn geleverd.
Er is een extra set kussentjes van stof ipv het namaakleer die op de hooftelefoon zelf zitten.
Qua klank valt me vooral de warmte op, tov mijn vorige de HDJ-1000 van Pioneer en het volume.
Deze kan duidelijk een stuk luider met behoud van klank.
Behoorlijk veel bass die zuiver blijft ook bij hoge volumes. Naar mijn smaak wel wat weinig hoge tonen, maar ik vermoed dat het een kwestie van wat wennen is.
De schelpen zitten over en niet op het oor, hierdoor zijn ze veel comfortabeler bij langdurig gebruik en bovendien lijken ze me ook beter te isoleren tegen extern geluid.
Hierdoor is hij niet zo compact als een HDJ-1000, maar dit valt heel erg mee.
Het transportetui is van het harde type (geen zakje, een doos) en alhoewel deze erg klassevol en beschermend is, is dit toch wel een minpunt. Deze is gewoon veel te groot om met te nemen als DJ. Dit gaat niet bij in je al overvolle laptoptas met controllers of toch niet zonder veel plaats te verliezen. Beschermen doet ze uiteraard veel beter dan zon zakje van Pioneer. Ik vrees dat ik achter een zakje ga moeten zoeken om deze toch enigszins te beschermen en minder plaats in te nemen bij verplaatsingen.
Zeer fijne hoofdtelefoon, maar behoorlijk veel bass qua klank.
