DJ MIDI controllers are incredibly popular these days. No wonder Stanton decided to issue their own model. With the DJC.4, the brand has delivered a sleek DJ MIDI controller with large jog wheels, a four-channel interface, four-deck support and all the functions you need to get creative.

Characteristics of the DJC.4 controller

From touch-sensitive jog wheels to various sample, hot cue and loop functions, Stanton's DJC.4 controller offers everything a modern DJ could possibly wish for. Effect parameters can be controlled in great detail, and a central browse knob ensures that you'll hardly ever use your computer keyboard. The DJC.4 also supports other hardware so that you will always be able to use a set of CD players or turntables.

Technological features

Thanks to its rugged metal housing, you can safely take the DJC.4 with you on the road. The controller's knobs and buttons are quite durable, ensuring a smooth DJing experience time and time again. This Stanton DJ MIDI controller comes with a special LE version of Virtual DJ, but it's also possible to use other DJ software by creating your own MIDI mapping.

Native Instruments' Traktor Now Fully Supported by OS X El Capitan

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.

NAMM 2016: Denon DJ Unveils the MCX8000

This 4-channel DJ mixer can be used as a standalone unit, but it's also great as a MIDI controller for Serato DJ and Denon's music management package Engine.
