General

Gemini's DJMIX-5000 is a complete music solution for parties. This all-in-one DJ station combines a fully-equipped MIDI controller, a 3000-watt Bluetooth-enabled sound system and LED lighting that reacts in time to the music. For optimal portability, the DJMIX-5000 even has built-in wheels.

All you need

Thanks to the free Cross DJ software, the DJMIX-500 can play music directly from your smartphone. You can do this via Bluetooth or connect your device using the auxiliary input. Together, the controller and the software ensure an authentic DJing experience with all of the same possibilities you'd get from a standard DJ setup. As well as a 3-band equalizer, the DJMIX5000 has controls for pitch, sync, hotcues, a loop cutter and many other possibilities.

Native Instruments' Traktor Now Fully Supported by OS X El Capitan

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.
