General

The Hercules DJControlWaveM3 Bluetooth DJ controller is the successor of the Hercules DJControlWave, the world's first wireless controller, which was awarded the prestigious Innovation Award at the CES Las Vegas in 2014. Although its predecessor only supported the iPad, the M3 is compatible with your PC and Mac, as well as your Android and iOS devices.

DJ controller 3.0

The DJControlWaveM3 controller offers a choice of three different modes: laptop, multiscreen and tablet. In laptop mode - basically the standard mode - the controller is connected to a computer or a laptop, so you can mix tracks using the included DJUCED DJ software. Of course you can also use other DJ software packages, such as Traktor or Virtual DJ. Multiscreen mode enables you to connect the M3 to a touch screen device via Bluetooth. Download the free DJUCED app in the App Store or via Google Play, and you'll be able to create fantastic mixes using your tablet or smartphone. Awesome loops and effects can be produced with the touch of a finger! You can even share your playlists with your friends, so they can vote for their favourite tracks. Set the Hercules DJ controller to tablet mode, and everything is controlled via its touch screen.

Design

The DJControl Wave M3 has a futuristic design that's shaped like a wave. Its jog wheels have a metallic finish, which provides a nice contrast for the controller's dark blue housing. This Bluetooth DJ controller is lightweight and relatively compact, which means you don't necessarily have to stay inside your DJ booth. Take it with you on the dance floor, and enjoy the party with your friends!

Ik geef wel een eerlijke review, maar deze controller is inderdaad wel een mooie presentatie. Je moet wel in de eerste plaats de software blijven opvolgen. In het geval van deze dj control wave, is dat echt slecht gedaan. Je moet alles uitzoeken op het internet. Er moet ook vermeld worden dat als je dan Virtual DJ zou gaan gebruiken, moet je die wel betalen. Ik lig al vanaf ik mijn windows 10 gebruik, met zoveel werk om alles in orde te krijgen. De internetproviders, kan je gewoon niet geloven, software problemen, internet dat men in de richting van een dure rekening dreigt te drijven. Dit toestel is echt niets om ergens te gaan draaien, als je internet niet weg valt is plots de bluetooth vanzelf uit. Ik geef mezelf vijf sterren omdat ik deze control wave één uur heb kunnen spelen. Ik heb een Stanton SCS 4 DJ ook, wel de software is echt prima, steeds nieuwe mogelijkheden, héél goed uitgelegd ook. Hoe mooi dit dingetje ook is, ik raad hem echt niet aan, toch niet voor Android gebruikers. De levering was wel goed van Bax

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.
