Wrote the following about Hercules DJ Control Starlight DJ Controller

Really fun controller. Yes it's not a patch on a full size fully featured controller, but it allows you to get away from using mouse and keys, and has just enough features keep it practical. This one has very basic bass/treble cut off, which the Numark DJ2G02 doesn't, and haptic wheels to do scratching, though to be honest, it's hard to scratch with such small wheels. Good for a first controller (or very occasional dj like me), and good for travelling. Perhaps even as a backup controller when you've got better gear. The built in soundcard sounds good, but only mini jack so don't expect miracles. The USB is usb-mini - not micro, like everything else, so that's a nuisance, but only minor. It is USB powered, which is very handy. Recommended.
