General

Gently place your Roland DJ-808, Denon MC7000 or Pioneer DDJ-RX or DDJ-SX2 controller inside the FZGSADJ808BL flight case from Odyssey and rest assured that your gear makes it to the venue undamaged. This Black Label case even features an extendible platform for things like a laptop, effects or a synthesizer. When you open the case for the first time, the platform will be in horizontal position, but can also be installed at an angle using the included accessories. The flight case itself boasts a robust construction finished with a removable front panel and cable cut-outs for tidy cable management.

Flight d apparence de bonne qualité, mais les finitions ne sont pas au rdv…
Pieds en biais, mousse mal collé ou qui se décolle.
Et surtout un truc vraiment mal fait, les pieds plastique ne permet pas de se poser à plat sur le couvercle. Les pieds sont trop épais et mal positionnés.
Un peu déçu, je regrette mon flightcase ZOMO.

een geweldig product maar alleen is het een beetje jammer dat als je het platteau onder een hoek zet zoals aangegeven op de foto's zijn de kabels erg goed zichtbaar, ik zelf heb dit opgelost met een stukje stof.

Super mooie case! Ik gebruik hem voor mijn DDJ-SX2 en DDJ-XP2. Het schuine plateau maakt het bedienen van de XP2 erg makkelijk en prettig. mijn laptop en XP2 passen perfect naast elkaar op het brede plateau. Ik kan deze case zeker aanraden aan DJ's die ook een MIDI controller willen gebruiken. De case heeft extra veel ruimte voor kabels en een stekkerdoos als je de DDJ-SX2 (of de SX/SX3).
Helaas zijn er ook een aantal minpuntjes aan mijn case. De DDJ-SX2 past niet perfect in de case. Boven en onder zit de controller stevig tussen de schuimblokken, maar aan de zijkant zit er een centimeter speling. Daardoor kan de controller een beetje van links naar rechts schuiven in de case.
Daarnaast heeft een van de hulpstukken, om het plateau schuin te zetten, een fabricage fout. Het vlinderslot is een paar millimeter te laag gemonteerd, waardoor het hulpstuk zich niet verankerd bij het vastklemmen aan de rail. Daardoor kan het plateau rechts op en neer schuimen, zelfs als alles vastgeklemd is. Ook zijn er wat lijmresten zichtbaar tussen de schuimblokken en de case, en zit er wat schade op de rail. De case is nieuwe, dus dit is waarschijnlijk bij de fabrikant gebeurd. Erg jammer voor een case van 200 eu en Odyssey staat juist bekend om hun kwalitatieve goede cases.

Overall een hele mooie case die heel fijn te gebruiken is met een extra MIDI controller. Ik kan hem zeker aanbevelen aan DJ's die dat gebruiken. Helaas laat de kwaliteit wel wat te wensen over op een paar puntjes, maar het kan goed zijn dat dit alleen het geval is bij mijn case.
