Product no: 9000-0065-6806 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Once the quest for the perfect sound is complete; once your guitar delivers that perfect, natural tone, to the perfect amp, anything that might threaten that delicate balance is avoided at all costs - including stompboxes. In the Way Huge WHE205C Saucy Box, your set-up is offered the perfect, perfectly transparent drive that lays on the flavour while only enhancing your original sound, keeping it in tact rather than completely overpowering it. Since this is the very special, and very limited 'Chalky Box' edition, it comes coated in a chalk-board finish and a little pack of chalk included, so you can customise, doodle, and even do a little long-division while you jam.

The WHE205C Saucy Box: Dual Signal Path

Like the Way Huge Pork Loin Overdrive, the Saucy Box has been treated to the unrivalled versatility provided by discrete, dual signal paths to isolate the clean and overdrive. This smart circuit construction shapes one of the most organic, amp-style sounding drives in existence, and is also beautifully easy to use, offering just three detailed controls to mix up a super-wide range of different clean and overdriven flavours.

Intuitive Drive

The volume control of the Saucy Box provides the kind of power that's able to get the input of any tube amp up to pre-amp levels of distortion. Turn the Drive control all the way to the left, and start with a crystal-clear clean boost, as it's nudged to the right, the clean gradually disintegrates, giving way to a creamy, yet transparent overdrive. Meanwhile, the passive single-pot tone control can be tweaked to accommodate both single-coil and humbucker pickups, adapting the Saucy Box to the quirks of any guitar.
