General
According to TC Electronics, the design and development process of the MojoMojo has been just as simple as it has been complex. The goal was to create an overdrive effect with all the brawn of an amplifier, with an open and transparent character and a touch of compression to bring out the details in your sound, and guess what, they've absolutely managed to pull it off. This is partly thanks to the internal circuitry, which takes the incoming 9 volts and multiplies it three or four times to create an enormous amount of headroom and plenty of clarity and transparency along with it.
The MojoMojo: Versatile Overdrive
This TC pedal is perfect for a foundation drive sound in combination with a clean amp but can just as easily be used to sent some more overdrive to an already overdriven amp. The included treble and bass controls allow you to sculpt the sound to taste and the voicing switch determines can be used to loosen up or focus the lows. With the MojoMojo, TC Electronics prove a great quality, versatile overdrive effect pedal doesn't have to cost you a small fortune.

En plus d'être d'un prix très raisonnable, cette pédale conçue à l'origine pour guitare, ne laisse "s'échapper" pas trop de fréquence graves (surtout avec le switch vers le haut).
Je trouve les 2 correcteurs de tonalités efficaces. La plage d'utilisation est tout à fait pour ce que je voulais : on part d'un léger boost (cependant pas tt à fait "neutre") jusqu'à du crunch léger ou fort (selon réglage), puis de la bonne OD "qui gratte.. On peut, aux extrème être limite disto... mais ce n'est pas ce qui m'intéresse.
Je vais même en avoir une deuxième (juste à côté, et réglée différemment)) sur mon pedalboard :)
