A tight ode to the monumental Randy Rhoads legacy, the MXR RR104 Randy Rhoads Distortion+ harks back to the meaty tone of an undeniable legend. Rhoads wasn't just the renowned guitarist from Riot Rot, but played for Ozzy Osbourne, and thanks to his incomparable guitar work, the albums 'The Blizzard of Oz' and 'Diary of a Madman' became instant classics. This limited edition pedal has been developed with the help of Randy's sister, Kathy Rhoads, so you can expect the same valve-flavoured sound you heard on some of his best-loved hits. To complete the pack, this pedal comes bundled up with a Certificate of Authenticity and an exclusive booklet.

The MXR RR104 Randy Rhoads Distortion+: An Accurate Ode

Rhoads was acclaimed for his mash-up of classical music inspired legato passages and melodies with heavily saturated riff work. One of the most essential ingredients in this heady mix was Randy's MXR Distortion+. For the first time in 42 years, the Rhoads family gave MXR full access to Randy's pedalboard, so this legendary rock 'n roll artefact could be fully inspected - right down to the finest details. And, this pedal doesn't just bring accurate and authentic sound, but even comes in the same iconic polka-dot finish as the V-shaped guitar that was built for Randy by Karl Sandoval way back when. Only 3,200 of these beauties will ever be built and only a few of those will be available in Europe, so get in while you still can.
