With their 3 Series pedals, JHS set out to put great quality, American-made pedals in the hands of budget-limited guitarists. As such, this Overdrive model features the same components as more expensive JHS pedals, including a Gain switch so you can thrust out saturated and compressed tone or more transparent crunch depending on your mood, style or any demanding band members. As a big fat nod to its illustrious predecessors from the '80s, this soft-clipping overdrive pedal can deliver anything from simple boosts to amp-like drive and, since the lay-out and visual design is rather uncomplicated, so is the price.
