Anyone who's ever tried a tube amp and dared to turn up the volume knows how fantastic they sound. Strike a chord and you won't only hear the foundation tone but a warm blanket of rich overtones. Depending on your hearing, you might even be able to identify and sing along to the individual notes while by dialling back the volume of your guitar a little, you'll hear the characteristic sound of your instrument punch through. Thanks to the Fulltone OCD overdrive, we're finally getting a pedal that can comfortable match the sound of a tube amp. This is the Germanium edition.

The Fulltone OCD Germanium: Exceptionally Transparent Sound

Other overdrive pedals tend to lose out on dynamics and treat the sound to a rather flat-sounding tonal bouquet. The exceptionally transparent Fulltone OCD on the other hand, responds immediately and accurately and blooms with delicious overtones like only premium amps can, all while carefully maintaining the original sound of your guitar. To finish, the Germanium transistor in this durably built stompbox keeps any shrieking highs in check for a well-rounded, overall sound.

Fulltone Pedals

The Fulltone brand was established in 1991 by successful guitarist/composer, Michael Fuller. His goal was to produce vintage-style pedals with sublime, warm, subtle sounds and top-quality construction. What's more, as many effects as possible were equipped with True Bypass. Fulltone pedals are handmade by and for musicians and offer long-lasting enjoyment at an affordable price!

Tips or comments about this product

You can use 9 - 18V DC, centre-negative adapters. If using an 18V adapter, make sure it's regulated. Using an 18V adapter gives the pedal a cleaner, louder, more dynamic sound.
