The Carl Martin DC Drive harbours two different flavours of overdrive in one tiny, solid housing: Fat with a more modern edge and Regular for vintage tone. Using the straight-up tone controls on the face of the pedal, you can quickly dial in spot-on sound, volume to match and just the right amount of overdrive. Also, since this Carl Martin-made unit converts incoming 9V power to 12V, any overdriven sounds are left with plenty of headroom. Simply, yet brilliant.
