With the Numark PT01 Scratch, you can scratch whenever and wherever you want. It's a compact, portable turntable with a rugged housing that you can use both indoors and outdoors, which means you can create those authentic scratch effects literally anytime, anywhere! You no longer need a mains power socket either. The best thing about the PT01 Scratch is that its design and layout facilitate your own unique scratching style, regardless of whether you're right-handed or left-handed. Simply use the Adjustable Scratch Switch to tweak the PT01 Scratch to match your style.

Portable Scratching, Whenever & Wherever!

All you have to do is connect your phone or media device to the PT01 Scratch via the mini jack so you can play background music while you do your thing. The music is played through the built-in speakers, and you can adjust the volume with the gain control. You can also connect other equipment or your headphones to the turntable via the RCA stereo outputs. To top it all off, you can make digital recordings by connecting the turntable to your computer via USB.

Wrote the following about Numark PT01 Scratch Portable Record Player

Geweldig apparaat. Brengt scratchen binnen handbereik voor mensen met een wat kleiner budget. Voor mij als linkshandige wel een beetje jammer dat de switch (fader) rechts zit, daar had ik even niet bij stilgestaan. Betekent dat ik iets langer zal moeten oefenen (de snelle cuts zijn vaak makkelijker met je schrijfhand). Ik scratch er voornamelijk 12 inches op (acapella's van hiphop EP's etc.). Schijnt vooral gemaakt te zijn voor 7 inch (single formaat), maar als je daarmee wilt scratchen is het aan te raden je te beperken tot de 7 inches met het kleine gat, zoals in de LP. De adapter voor het grote gat schiet er namelijk vrij makkelijk uit als je woest aan het krassen bent.
Ik ben nog een absolute beginner, maar nu al dolenthousiast. Aanrader!

Mooi apparaat, goed uitgedacht. Moet nog wel wat oefenen om een 'echte' scratcher te worden.

Wel vreemd, ik krijg steeds mail van bax-shop dat ik mijn bestelling nog moet ophalen. Heb het product gewoon in huis, en ook gewoon betaald. Nu is de order geannuleerd, terwijl hij gewoon geleverd is. Maar ik krijg ook een mail met de vraag hoe dit product bevalt, en de vraag of ik een review wil schrijven. Mijn account geeft aan dat ik het product nog moet afhalen. Beetje chaos bax mensen? En hoe zit het met de garantie als de order geannuleerd is? Bezoek de laatste tijd wel heel vaak thomann.de :-)

4 sterren is voor het product, en zeker deze keer niet voor bax.

De Numark PT-01 Scratch is een stevige maar zeer draagbare platenspeler met een crossfader-schakelaar voor krassen. Het kan 12 "-records afspelen, maar voor krassen zou ik 7" vinyls aanraden. Ik zou willen dat het meer geïntegreerde functies voor dvs had, omdat het via usb op je telefoon kan worden aangesloten met behulp van de camerakitconnector of een adapter om apps zoals Edjing Mix te besturen. Om de app te besturen, gebruik ik 7 "serato timecode-vinyls die perfect zijn voor de PT-01 Scratch.

Het zou geweldig zijn als het mogelijk was om audio van je digitale apparaat terug door de crossfader te routeren, zodat het draagbaarder zou worden als een dvs-controller. Nu moet ik een externe crossfader gebruiken om de audio van mijn telefoon te knippen.

Vorige week deze platenspeler aangeschaft en heb zeer te spreken over dit product.
Voor de prijs is het een geweldig product om te beginnen als portablist (portable scratcher)
Er zijn ook al veel mods voor deze draaitafel zoals een andere fader en tonearm replacements dus ookal vond je de scratch switch die er op zit niet fijn, je kan deze goedkoop veranderen.

Aangezien het tegenwoordig heel moeilijk is om aan een Vestax Handy trax te komen is dit een Goed product.

Serato has announced that their software is now supported by Apple's latest OS, El Capitan (version 10.11.1). You can download the latest version of Serato DJ here. There are still a few bugs, but Serato has indicated that they aim to fix those as soon as possible. Here you can read about the issues that still affect Pioneer, Rane, Numark, Novation and Reloop hardware. As mentioned above, Serato is working hard to fix any and all problems.
