General

Yamaha's Clavinova series has been a symbol of musical excellence and quality craftsmanship for years. And it's only gotten better with time, as Yamaha has worked to continually improve their models to offer the best technology available, which we can see in this Clavinova CVP-609PE. With its sleek Polished Ebony finish, this CVP-609PE looks like a real acoustic piano, and with its Natural Wood keyboard it feels like one too. Add Linear Graded Hammers to the mix, which work to give each key the same individual, realistic weight that it would have on an acoustic piano, and you might forget you're playing a digital instrument altogether! The cherry on top of the solid wood keys is the synthetic ivory key tops, for that extra, luxurious grip.

Yamaha Clavinova CVP-609PE: technical fusion

The technical gadgets in this Clavinova are really something. The keyboard's interior contains a number of sensors that accurately register the attack and release of the keys in detail. Together with the GP response pedal, which offers a nice damper function, the keyboard creates an especially natural piano sound so you can hear every nuance of your playing. This Real Grand Expression technology allows you to become totally immersed in your playing, and to add to it, you even have the option of adjusting the sound to emulate a number of different models and room-specific acoustics. Thanks to the advanced speakers and subwoofers with 2x 60 watts plus 80 watts of power, the piano comes to life. From glistening trebles to vibrating bass tones, it's all reproduced in fine detail.

Premium jukebox

Along with piano playing, the CVP-609PE can also function as a house-band or orchestra. An impressive 1,140 realistic sounds are available for you to use for accompaniment, playing your favourite songs or even composing your own music. 566 accompaniment styles equipped with numerous variations of matching sound combinations are available to offer the broadest repertoires possible. From jazz combo to disco, it all comes to life with these professionally arranged accompaniments. Thanks to the large colour touch screen navigating the CVP-609PE is incredibly intuitive. Moreover, the secondary features are very comprehensive, and even the VH2 harmonizer - known from the Tyros4 - is built in. All of the possibilities are there for you to convert your Clavinova CVP-609PE from a realistic Polished Ebony piano to your very own orchestra or karaoke bar. There's no denying that this instrument is a worthy musical investment.
