General

Roland has a history of great innovation. Since the 1970s, the manufacturer has been pioneering the electronic musical instrument market, and Roland's digital pianos have been of the essence for many combos and solo artists for decades. The Roland V-Piano is yet another distinguished instrument. It does away with old-fashioned sampling technology and is equipped with a sound generator that reproduces the separate strings of an acoustic piano in real-time, resulting in an exceptionally natural piano sound that will inspire any pianist.

Roland V-Piano: digital yet organic

The high-grade audio engine of the V-Piano simulates the sound of 264 virtual strings, taking a large number of parameters into account. Just like pianos made of wood and die-cast iron, this digital piano is capable of producing many types of resonance and noise. Simply adjust tunings, string configurations and hammer felt hardness to your liking. From world-famous grand pianos to non-existent experimental instruments: with the parameters of the V-Piano sound engine you're able to play them all. The digital Roland piano features 24 piano presets, which can all be edited at will, providing you with a wide variety of different tones. The well-organised controls make it easy to operate this awarded instrument.

PHA-III keyboard with Ivory Feel

Naturally, an avant-grade instrument like the V-Piano deserves a high-quality keyboard. The Progressive Hammer Action III (PHA-III) keyboard allows for fabulous expression, partly thanks to the use of Progressive Hammer Action technology. Escapement is featured as well, so you can add subtle nuances to your playing. The Ivory Feel finish is the icing on the cake. Based on the authentic, acoustic sound and feel of the streamlined V-Piano, your hands and ears will find it hard to believe this is actually a digital instrument. The V-Piano is able to record in MIDI format (SMF), and its USB port also allows for playback of audio files (MP3/WAV). The digital piano features two stereo outputs, both equipped with jack as well as XLR connectors. An accessory three-part piano pedal, a USB cable and a power cable are included with the Roland V-Piano.
