General

The LX-15e is a beautifully designed upright piano with a fantastic sound and a piano keyboard that feels exceptionally smooth and life-like. The PHA-4 keyboard offers you the feel of the ivory and ebony keys of a grand piano. Thanks to the latest touch-sensing technology, your playing and expression are accurately registered. Subsequently, the SuperNATURAL sound system with Dynamic Harmonic functionality generates an incredibly natural sound that corresponds with the force of your strokes. The polished white finish makes the Roland LX-15e-PW a real eye-catcher in your living room.

The sound of the LX-15e

Roland's SuperNATURAL system ensures that timbre and volume change in a nuanced, stepless way while you are playing. Even when you're playing fortissimo, the unique sound characteristics and powerful sound are retained, thanks to the Dynamic Harmonic functionality. The sound generator also takes pedal and hammer sounds, and string, damper, key-off and cabinet resonance into account.The Acoustic Projection system of the LX-15e is based on the sound system of the Roland V-Piano Grand. Several speakers reproduce the spacious, multi-dimensional sound field of an acoustic piano - the sound even becomes clearer when you open the top lid. The 3D Ambience effect provides a realistic listening experience when you are using your headphones.

New technology

The Roland LX-15e feels and sounds like a real piano, but offers the additional benefits of a digital piano: it does not require tuning and it allows you to practise quietly with headphones. Additionally, the LX-15e enables you to record your playing and is capable of communicating with your iPad, provided you have an optional Roland WNA1100-RL Wireless USB Adapter at your disposal. The free Piano Partner app for iPad enables you to select the sound and songs of the Roland LX-15e and to display the sheet music on your iPad. The free Air Performer app allows you to play along with the songs on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
