General

The Roland HPi-50e is a deluxe digital piano that provides an incredibly authentic piano experience. This successor of the popular HPi-50 is equipped with a SuperNATURAL sound generator and a high-quality PHA-4 keyboard. The Dynamic Harmonic functionality enables you to play even more expressively and aptly reproduces the typical overtones of your fortissimo playing. The HPi-50e is equipped with the latest musical technology, including an internal 16-track recorder, data ports and an LCD display that is built into the music stand.

HPi-50e: a life-like piano experience

The HPi-50e is equipped with a PHA-4 Concert keyboard with Escapement and Ebony/Ivory Feel, which offers a new level of expression thanks to the latest touch-sensing technology. The popular SuperNATURAL sound system has been enhanced with a Dynamic Harmonic function, which causes the timbre to change in a natural way in accordance with the force of your strokes. The sound system takes characteristics such as string, damper, key-off and cabinet resonance into account, and even the sound of hammers and pedals is audible. An astonishingly life-like piano experience is assured, with the additional benefit that the Roland HPi-50e does not require any tuning.

DigiScore, the recorder and sound reproduction

The Roland HPi-50e is equipped with DigiScore, which means that the sheet music of built-in songs, external MIDI files and parts you've played are displayed on the LCD screen that is integrated into the music stand. The Active Sync function keeps track of your playing and turns the digital pages automatically. The HPi-50e is equipped with various speakers, which are positioned in such a way that they create a stereo image identical to that of a real piano. The sound of this digital piano changes with the opening and closing of the top lid. The unique sound field, similar to that of an acoustic piano, can also be enjoyed quietly thanks to the 3D Ambience effect for headphones.
