General

When you want to start playing the Roland HP603A, you don't need to press a single button. To activate it, all you need to do is lift the keyboard cover. Roland gives you the ultimate piano experience. The difference between an acoustic and a digital piano is becoming smaller and smaller. In terms of audio, the difference is barely audible thanks to Roland's SuperNATURAL engine, which is able to emulate a realistic, genuine sound of an acoustic piano and other instruments.

Natural sound

Roland have pulled out all the stops to ensure the piano sounds generated by the HP603A sound as natural as possible. To achieve this, they developed the SuperNATURAL sound engine that generates sound based on complex mathematical formulas. It takes acoustic elements like vibrating strings, hammer beaters and the body of the piano into consideration for a realistic sound. Unlike sampled piano sounds, the SuperNATURAL engine generates the sounds in real time. As well as piano sounds, there are more than 300 other instruments available on the HP603A.

Streaming via Bluetooth

Unlike the HP603, the HP603A adds Bluetooth allowing you to stream music to it so that you can play along with your favourite songs. You can even send MIDI files and music scores to and from the piano via this function.
