General

Italian instrument developers through-and-through, ORLA know how to strike a perfect balance between great sound and sleek visual design. As such, the SP230 Stage Studio digital piano features a highly accurate 88-note hammer-action keyboard that will not only aid beginners as they get to grips with touch-sensitivity, but will support more advanced players with enhanced expression. The SP230 has been loaded with 16 sounds, including a grand piano as well as various pianos, basses, strings and wood-wind instruments. In addition, it comes including a sustain pedal to offer a genuine playing experience and for a complete upright-style set-up, a compatible stand-unit can be purchased separately.

Pure Potential

The sounds of the SP230 Stage Studio can be stacked using the Layer function or divided over the left and right of the keyboard using the Split function, while next to a chorus effect, Room, Hall and Theatre reverbs come built in, and you can easily record original compositions and performances over two tracks. If you're still learning, the Twin function can be used to split the keyboard into two sections, while experienced players are offered extensive MIDI potential - which even includes the option to break off the outbound MIDI signal or mute the internal sounds and playback external MIDI sounds only.

Connections

The ORLA Stage Studio is fully set up for home use, but also features all the connections demanded for stage or studio performance. So, while the integrated speaker system is made up of two 15 Watt speakers, external speakers can be hooked up with ease via fitted line outputs for more volume, or two pairs of headphones can be connected for more private practice or lessons. The MIDI ports speak for themselves, and next to a USB port for connecting a computer, and a port included for an additional Bluetooth module (not included) for streaming music from a Bluetooth compatible device so you can play along to your favourite songs, or a phone, tablet, or laptop can just as easily be connected via the fitted line input.
