General

Have you always wanted to own a digital piano, and are you crazy about that great Kurzweil sound? Then the Kurzweil M230 RW digital piano with its classy rosewood finish is right up your alley! It's not just any old digital piano, it has plenty of features to keep you entertained for a long time to come. Its keyboard is excellent, with 88 adjustable velocity-sensitive keys, which is great for both beginners and advanced players. What's more, its rosewood housing has a classy look, meaning this piano is also a great piece of furniture that will look fabulous in virtually any room in the house.

Kurzweil M230 RW: features

The M230 has various voices at its disposal. Of course there are different piano voices - all with the famous Kurzweil quality - but there are also electric pianos, organs, orchestra sounds and so on. It even has a rhythms section so that you can play along with an invisible drummer and practise your timing, for instance. You can even play along with your favourite songs by plugging an MP3 player into the mini jack input. Using the USB connector, you can hook the M230 up to your computer, and record/edit your playing in any DAW. Once you're done playing, you can simply close the retractable keyboard cover to keep dust away.

Piano lessons

As with many digital pianos, the Kurzweil's keyboard can be divided up into zones. With the layer feature, you can layer two voices, while split allows you to assign different voices to the left and right sides of the keyboard. The dual mode is particularly interesting for piano lessons, as it divides the keyboard into two identical halves with the same tonal range. That means you can play right next to your teacher, making it much easier to follow along. Another handy addition, especially with music lessons in mind, is the inclusion of two headphone connectors. This allows student and teacher to play without bothering anyone else.
