Korg B1SP-WH digital piano (white)
Product no: 9000-0023-4325 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Korg's white B1SP-WH combines the functionality of a digital piano with the sound and playing feel of an acoustic instrument. This digital piano sounds incredibly authentic and its keys respond remarkably life-like thanks to the Natural Weighted Hammer system. The lower notes even feel heavier than the higher ones! In addition to the traditional piano sound, you can also opt for organ or electric piano, while built-in effects like reverb and chorus provide some nice additional flavour.

Motional Feedback

A built-in 2 x 9-watt stereo amplification system with Motional Feedback technology ensures you're able to enjoy a neutral sound, while a passive radiator system guarantees that the low notes sound super-tight. Thanks to the piano's 120-voice polyphony, you won't have to worry about dropping notes, no matter how much you use the sustain pedal.

Play together or by yourself

Although you'll usually play the piano by yourself, sometimes it's practical to share the keyboard with a partner or with your piano teacher. The B1SP-WH has a handy partner mode, that divides the keyboard into two equal parts so you can play alongside each other. A stereo mini jack output, meanwhile, allows you to plug in a pair of headphones for quiet practice sessions, or an external sound system. Finally, this Korg digital piano features a number of practical extras such as a built-in metronome, tone controls and a sheet music stand with special page retention pockets.

Korg B1SP-WH digital piano (white)
Wrote the following about Korg B1SP-WH digital piano (white)
Got the piano last week its my first time playing and am enjoying the experience. It looks sleek and is a nice addition to my bedroom. The wooden frame is quite cheap I broke the main MDF back board on installation but installed it myself and is not noticeable.

Overall am super happy I can plug in headphones so am not annoying anyone and escape. I don't need loads of features as a beginner and have explored none of them so far. I just turn it on watch utube vids and practice fingering and chords all day long :)

NAMM 2016: Yamaha DGX-660 Digital Piano

Thursday 21 January 2016

Thanks to their wooden housing, digital pianos usually blend in nicely with the rest of your furniture. Keyboards, on the other hand, tend to stick out a bit more. With their DGX series, Yamaha provides the perfect middle ground. These instruments have the same options as a keyboard, but their housing (with stand) ensures they don't stand out too much in your living room. The newest additions to the DGX family are the DGX-660 and the DGX-660WH.
