General

Casio's PX-S1000 is a beautiful digital piano that has an extremely slim design. The Smart Scaled Hammer Action keyboard is brand new and each one of the fully-weighted 88 keys has its own response for a truly authentic feel. There are 18 sounds on board including a stereo grand piano that sounds nothing short of stunning. Casio have done everything to ensure this digital piano sounds more realistic than ever. As well as string and damper resonance, you'll even hear the sound of the keys being pressed and returning to their original position! As well as piano sounds, the PX-S1000 also has extremely-realistic electric piano, organ, string, vibraphone, harpsichord and other sounds on board. If you think this digital piano looks a little light on controls that's because they work with touch sensors and you can only see them when the power is turned on!

Connection options

The PX-S1000 is equipped with Bluetooth which makes it possible to stream music directly from a device like a smartphone, but you can also use the auxiliary input if you want to use a device that doesn't have Bluetooth. Sounds will be played through the digital piano's on-board speakers or you could choose to connect one or even two sets of headphones. There's also a stereo line out so that you can connect this digital piano to equipment like a PA or a mixer. A damper pedal included, but if you choose to buy the optional SP-34 Triple Pedal unit, you can easily connect that instead. Another accessory you might want to consider buying is the CS-68P stand. Don't forget to download the free Chordana Play app either that gives you even more possibilities.
