General

Casio designed the Celviano pianos in collaboration with renowned piano manufacturer Bechstein. That can be seen in its design, heard in its sound and felt when it's played. The keyboard even uses the same Austrian spruce that Bechstein use for their own models. That's one of the reasons why the keys feel exactly the same as those on an acoustic piano. The pedals have an authentic feel and three grand pianos were used to create the samples for a sound that is also as faithful as possible. This digital piano has a stunning white finish for a great look that matches any interior.

Possibilities

Compared to an acoustic model, a digital piano offers a number of advantages. There are three different playing modes, for instance. In Layer mode, two different sounds can be combined together. In Split mode, the keyboard can be split in two, with each side having a different sound. In Duet mode, the keyboard is also split into two but now each side has exactly the same sound and register. The last mode is particularly useful for learning to play alongside a tutor.

Great Sound

As it has no internal moving parts, the Celviano relies on its built-in sound system and speakers for its sound. Its amplifier is capable of delivering 100 Watts of power to its stereo 3-way, 6-speaker system and as such, clear bass, mids and highs are all assured for a realistic sound. The GP-300WE even has a recording function and it's possible to export your sound files.
