General

After the M32 and the M32R, Midas have now added the M32C, the third variant to their highly successful digital M32 series. The main difference with this mixer and its predecessors, is that it does feature all the functionality but not the size of the M32. The people at Midas managed to implement the entire functionality in a single (1U) rack unit. As this does away with faders and the like, you control the mixer via a tablet. This way, you can position yourself anywhere you like and still have the mixer's full functionality at your fingertips.

Midas M32C: installations and live gigs

Because the M32C is so compact, you can use it perfectly for fixed installations as well as live performances - its reduced size and weight will be highly convenient in both situations. Despite its compact size, the mixer still has all the functions on board you'd expect from the M32. For instance, you can assign each input with various effects such as delay, gate, compressor, and other effects. Equalizing each input and output individually is possible in the parametric EQ. Thanks to its 40-bit floating point processing, you don't have to worry about high latency - Midas managed to keep latency extremely low. The artists and the audience will thank you for that!

Acoustic Integration

While developing the M32C, Midas joined forces with the legendary British company Turbosound. With over 40 years of experience, this was the perfect partner for Midas. Together, they developed a protocol that allows mixers and speakers to work together seamlessly: Acoustic Integration. This means you can connect a Cat5 cable to the mixer and your speakers, after which the audio comes out of the speakers without any extra latency and with digital quality. Compatible speakers are speakers from the iQ series by Turbosound, for instance. Thanks to this complete integration, it's even possible to adjust the speakers in live settings by means of the True Physical Modelling' option. Acoustic Integration is the next big step in the 'Live sound revolution!'

Midas M32C digital rack mixer
Wrote the following about Midas M32C digital rack mixer
