General

The compact GIG-202 Tab digital 20-channel live mixer is the first digital mixer in DAP Audio's GIG series and was designed specifically for mixing bands and theatre performances. With the GIG-202, DAP have added a new digital dimension to their assortment. The direct-access push-buttons and 7-inch display point you in the right direction, even if you have no experience with mixing incoming and outgoing signals.

Comprehensive DAP GIG-202 Tab

With sixteen combined XLR/jack inputs, four stereo jack inputs, four dedicated aux inputs, and another four switchable AUX/SUB outputs at your disposal, this mixer easily meets the demands of most bands that gig regularly. While it offers plenty of inputs and monitor outputs, that's only the beginning. For advanced audio technicians, the GIG-202 Tab also features two separate effects modules, a digital gate/compressor and a 4-band parametric equalizer on all inputs, ultra-low noise mic preamps with phantom power, a compressor and a 31-channel graphic equalizer on every output, 8 inserts on the first inputs and an AD/DA converter with six user-definable DCAs!

Motorised fader

Being able to intervene directly is crucial when mixing live, which is why the DAP GIG-202 Tab is equipped with eight direct-access buttons. Use them to go directly to the function you want without the risk of getting lost in sub menus! What's more, the 100mm motorised fader is connected automatically to the parameter of the function you want to adjust. All this gives this digital machine a familiar analogue feel. If you feel like you might lose your way in the countless possibilities, the user software and clear display will get you back on track.

DAP GIG-202 Tab digital live mixer
Wrote the following about DAP GIG-202 Tab digital live mixer
