General
The smaller sibling of the ever popular Behringer X32, the Behringer X32 Compact bears a more slimline housing and stripped down layout - perfect for space-poor studios and mobile engineers. While eight faders have been removed, this still leaves you with a generous bank of seventeen 100mm motorised faders, and while the build is smaller, no compromises have been made when it comes to processing power.
The X32 Compact: Unlimited Digital Potential
In terms of technical features and effects, the X32 Compact gives you everything that the full-sized X32 does. All of the settings and parameters can be quickly navigated and tweaked via the large, full colour display screen; the channel strips also boast a clean and clear design complete with backlit buttons; and the integrated Midas preamps still deliver that renowned high-quality performance, giving each incoming signal a shot of vivid life.
Effects and Expansion
Of course, this mixer grants access to a small mountain of effects, including simulations of renowned equipment, so you get access to a virtual effect rack loaded with stereo slots and an immense range of audio editing options, all fed by a 32-bit DSP with an enormous dynamic range. And to finish, a snake can be hooked up via the fitted Klark Teknik AES50 port, setting you up with more than enough mix-capacity, no matter the situation.

Wat een mixer!! En dan te beseffen dat het gaat om een die inmiddels al bijna 10 jaar op de markt is.
Dit is een mixer die nog makkelijk 10 jaar mee kan. De mogelijkheden op dit staaltje techniek is echt absurd te noemen. Dit is een mixer waar je meer dan waar krijgt voor je geld. Hij is elke euro dubbel en dwars waard! Overgestapt van een Dynacord CMS mixer naar de Soundcraft UI digitale mixer en nu dus naar de x32 Compact. Ik had deze mixer veel eerder moeten halen!!
Wat een mogelijkheden met dit apparaat.
Koste me wel even wat tijd om de X32 te leren kennen . YouTube en mijn cursus PMP hebben mijn kennis in de geluidstechniek enorm geholpen om te leren omgaan met dit mengpaneel .
Gelijk wel een flightcase er bij aangeschaft voor bescherming transport.
Ik kan niet oordelen over of deze wel of niet onder doet dan ander digitale mengpanelen , daar heb ik de ervaring nog niet genoeg in .
Maar ik raad het zeker aan om deze ook in je keuze te zetten .
Fijn en goed overzichtelijk mengpaneel.
De geluidskwaliteit is ook prima. Nog geen klachten gehoord.
Kortom prima product voor mij en onze band.
Er zijn overigens heel veel filmpjes op youtube te vinden over het gebruik en instellingen van de X32. Dat ook erg prettig en handig..
De mogelijkheden van de tafel zijn ongekend, het kost mij best veel tijd om dit allemaal te ontdekken.
Gelukkig staan er vele filmpjes op You Tube die alle mogelijk heden van de mixer uitleggen.
een aanrader is om de tutorials van Drew Brashler. worden per onderdeel uitstekend uitgelegd.
Let wel op met de tafel zelf kun je de 32 sporen rechtstreeks opnemen als je wel de expantioncard X32 live er in hebt geplaatst. deze moet je apart aanschaffen. ander kun je alleen 2 sporen (stereo) op nemen met de tafel, uiteraard kun je wel d.m.v. de usb kabel wel 32 sporen opnemen via de computer met bijvoorbeeld Reaper (windows) of Logic pro (Mac).
Voor de remote control dien je wel een wifi router er aan te hangen in zalen, voor thuis kun je d.m.v. de utp kabel gebruikmaken van je eigen wifi netwerk (als je dat hebt uiteraard).
kortom een echte aanrader voor een schappelijke prijs die niets onder doet voor zijn duurdere concurenten.
1 min puntje richting Behringer, de app voor de remote control voor de Ipad is beschikbaar, maar helaas nog steeds niet voor de Iphone. dat zou fijn zijn om zelf je monitor te kunnen bedienen.
