General

The extensive and professional DSP functionality of the Klark Teknik DM8500 audio processor grants deep control over the connected inputs and outputs. This progressive mixer even comes equipped with a Dante network interface that's able to output up to sixty-four digital inputs and outputs. Connect up analogue microphones or line-level equipment via the 3-pin Euroblock ports lined up along the rear panel, link a computer via the USB port, or take advantage of the RS232 ports and sixteen digital outputs via the Ultranet digital network port. Extensive yet easy to work with, the Klark Teknik DM8500 digital audio processor is the ideal brain for systems installed anywhere from conference centres to courtrooms.

External DSP for Digital Sound Installations

The front control panel has been finished with LED indicators that give clear feedback on the I/O, COM, and system status. Standard analogue equipment fitted with XLR, TS and TRS ports can be connected to the rear Euroblocks by following the Wiring Guide included in the user manual and, once everything is connected up, a gigantic DSP library provides a near-endless array of sound shaping options. The DSP can be controlled via Ethernet or using a DM TCE controller (not included), giving you direct access to mixers, equalisers, feedback suppressors, crossovers, filters, dynamics, routers, delay, controls, meters and generators.
