bof bof, ça fonctionne, mais ce n'est quand même pas très agréable à utiliser, c'est vraiment trop petit à mon goût.

Het is een prima controller om mee te beginnen; je kunt er de basis dingen mee om te mixen.

Het is wel irritant dat de mid knop (equalizer) zo dicht bij de jogwheel zit dat je als je hem omdraait de jogwheel meedraait.
Ook is de het bijna onmogelijk om met zulke kleine jogwheels te scratchen, maar om te mixen is het een prima ding en voor zo'n prijs mag je niet meer verwachten.

Algemeen:
Klein maar fijn. Je hebt er voor de kleine grootte en prijs relatief veel mogelijkheden, maar die mogelijkheden zijn dan weer niet tot in de puntjes uitgewerkt. Zo zijn de knobbers, jogwheels en drukknoppen midi-toewijsbaar, behalve de 'Vinyl Mode'-knop, maar is het niet eenvoudig/onmogelijk om de leds te mappen. Hij is handig om mee te nemen naar een optreden, maar dan is het hopen dat niemand ermee lacht, wegens zijn grootte. Ik gebruik hem voor deck A en B, equalizers en de browser binnen Traktor Pro 2.

Positief:
- veel druk- en draaiknoppen voor de geringe oppervlakte
- flashy design
- Midi-toewijsbaar in bijna elke software
- even breed als een 13" laptop

Negatief:
- te klein: de jogwheels mogen groter zijn
- draaiknoppen staan dicht opeen
- leds niet toewijsbaar
- faders en knobbers zijn niet stevig
- meegeleverde software om te mappen is onduidelijk

Besluit:
Niet aan te raden als je voorbij het beginnerstadium bent, wel als je wil weten of dj'en iets voor jou is. Ik zou het ook niet te vaak gebruiken op locatie, want het is eigenlijk een belachelijk kleine controller. Maar goed: het doet wat het moet doen.

Native Instruments' Traktor Now Fully Supported by OS X El Capitan

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.

NAMM 2016: Denon DJ Unveils the MCX8000

This 4-channel DJ mixer can be used as a standalone unit, but it's also great as a MIDI controller for Serato DJ and Denon's music management package Engine.
