General

As many satisfied reviewers can attest, the Hercules 4-MX is an outstanding controller for (aspiring) DJs. This all-black edition of the 4-MX offers a stylish alternative for the regular version, but boasts the same quality characteristics. The number 4 refers to the number of decks - with this controller, it's possible to mix four stereo tracks.

Functionality

The Hercules 4-MX has two stereo outputs: one for the mix and one for monitoring purposes. If you'd like to hook up some external equipment, two analogue stereo inputs provide you with plenty of mixing options. When you're DJing, you can't do without your jog wheels. The Hercules 4-MX has two, both CD-sized. On the control panel you'll find a number of faders and transport buttons, as well as other controls, all positioned in a well-organised fashion. Despite its four-deck setup, you'll quickly familiarise yourself with this Hercules controller's workflow.

Rugged design

A decent DJ MIDI controller has a sturdy build, so you won't accidentally damage it during enthusiastic mixing sessions. With the Hercules 4-MX, you won't have to worry about that. Thanks to its rugged construction and durable jog wheels, this controller can take a hit. A practical bag is included, so you can easily take it with you to DJ on location. With the 4-MX, Hercules offers a price/quality ratio that'll make DJs' mouths water.

Ik heb deze controller nu 2 dagen in huis, hiervoor had ik de Hercules dj Instinct.
De hercules 4-mx is een grote controller goed voor een beginnende dj, niet te duur maar alle belangrijke functies zitten er op en zelfs nog extra functies

pluspunten:
- Grote jogwheels die fijn aanvoelen
- 2 microfoon ingangen
-2 koptelefoon ingangen
- veel outputs en zelfs inputs waarmee je nog tabletops aan kunt sluiten en ook een platenspeler
- speciale editie van virtual dj 7 bijgeleverd die perfect samenwerkt met deze controller

minpunten;
Deze heb ik nog niet gevonden

kortom een geweldige controller, goed voor de beginnende dj maar ook voor de gevorderde.
