General

Up until now, a real starter model DJ MIDI controller is the one thing we were missing within Denon's assortment. The brand that used to specialise in mixers, table tops and 19-inch players, have now entered the market of digital DJ controllers. The MC2000 is a controller designed for beginning DJs: it is all set for its first parties. Thanks to its neat-looking black design with white details, this stylish controller won't look amiss in a DJ booth.

Easy mixing with the MC2000
The MC2000 features all the basic functions that a starting DJ could wish for. The relatively large and supple jog wheels have a central position in the layout of the controller. Due to their size and special top layer, they offer plenty of grip. Located above the jog wheels are functions such as hotcues, a loop function and even an extensive effects section. Next to the jog wheels you will find pitch faders (at the front of the controller) and volume controls (on the left and right-hand side). The mixer section is simple yet practical. You don't need more than gain, a three-band EQ, a CUE button and a fader per channel. In the centre of the controller is a browse section, that allows you to browse through your music collection. You no longer need your mouse and keyboard to upload tracks.

MC2000 in combination with Serato DJ Intro
This controller works seamlessly with, and is certified for use with Serato DJ Intro. Various controllers work with this user-friendly software. Due to the plug-and-play principle, you won't have to install or develop mappings; all you have to do is just select your own controller. The software will do the rest! Serato DJ Intro offers similar functions as most regular software packs, focusing on the modern digital DJ. Because the MC2000 already has a built-in audio interface on board, the use of peripherals is reduced to a minimum.

Fijne mixer!
