Auralex DST-R Reflector diffusion panel mini-size

The latest addition to Auralex’s assortment of diffusers is the Diffusive Sound Tile Reflector (DST-R). This panel is meant to be the perfect addition to the DST-112 and DST-114 Studiofoam panels.

The DST-R is a 30 x 30 cm panel and has the same shape as a DST-114 panel; the only difference is that it is only 1 inch (2.54 cm) thick. This makes it a great option when an installation room has limited space (for instance due to a low ceiling). It is made of high-grade lightweight EPS (just like the MetroFusors) and can easily be painted with water-based paint. It is easy to install and is very attractively priced, compared to other diffusion panels.

The 30 x 30 panels can be aligned in a variety of ways, allowing you to create a nice design, especially if you paint it with water-based paint and when you use it in combination with DST-112 and DST-114 absorption panels.

- Do not use FoamTak spray adhesive to mount these panels! Only use TubeTak or TubeTak Pro.
- Paint with water-based paint, not with any other type of paint! Petroleum-based paint mixtures will burn away the polystyrene.
- Because of the difference in computer screens and colour depth of graphic cards it is possible that the colour of the product picture differs slightly from the actual colour of the product. The product picture has a merely illustrative function.
