With over 150 years of experience in designing and manufacturing harmonicas, the German brand knows a thing or two about quality. The original Marine Band was made in 1896, and is still manufactured the same way today. They have a patent on the Marine Band's bamboo comb, which is what allows those low tones to really stand out. The resistant volume is supported by the deeply set reeds and new reed profiles, ensuring more room for them to resonate, effectively preventing 'reed rattling'. The covers of the Marine band Thunderbird are fastened with four Phillips crews to the comb, so you can easily remove them for easy maintenance or fine-tuning.
