Hohner Marine Band Crossover C Harmonica

Equipped with a bamboo comb, the Hohner Marine Band Crossover diatonic harmonica has a bright and distinctly warm response. While the traditional bamboo harmonicas that originate from China have since evolved to be made using various other materials, this Hohner-developed model takes things back a step by combining a bamboo comb with more modern, rounded metal cover plates. While this edition has been tuned in C-major, the Marine Band Crossover is also available in various keys.

Compact & Comfortable Design

The only difference between the original Marine Band and the Crossover is that unique bamboo comb. So, this instrument still has that classic blues-focussed timbre and can be just as comfortably applied to jazz, rock, and soul. The 0.9mm thick reeds have been made from brass to ensure definition and volume while the compact and airtight construction guarantees a fast response and excellent control over those all-important dynamics - across the higher registers as well as the lower registers. To finish, the mouthpiece has been given a coat of SuperGlide for supreme playing comfort.
