The Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI is a popular, versatile D.I. box and bass guitar preamp. Not only does it allow you to connect your bass guitar directly to a mixer, it also lets you alter it wildly on the way! The Bass Driver D.I. comfortably moves from classic valve sounds to clear, modern tones, grunting distortions and everything in between.
The controls of the Bass Driver D.I.
With the Bass Driver DI, you can use controls for drive (gain and overdrive), presence (definition, higher trebles), blend (balance signal and effect) as well as an active tone control. The pedal features a 6.3mm, XLR and parallel 6.3mm output, to connect it to a bass amplifier or mixer, for instance, for both live and studio applications.
Tips or comments about this product- Apart from a battery or adapter, this pedal can also be powered by phantom power from a mixer, for instance. 24V DC is required, 48V DC is recommended (to power the LED indicator)
- In case you use an adapter, please make sure it has a centre-negative 2.1mm connector and produces a minimum of 100 mA. It can be either regulated or unregulated
