General

Long cables on large stages can be a disaster waiting to happen for your signal. A DI box fixes any problem you might encounter before it happens! Stagg's SDI-ST is an ingenious device that can be used in both stereo and mono. That means you can have two instruments running through it at the same time, or you can choose to have a stereo signal sent to the mixing console. The button to select either of these options is located on the rear. On the front, there's a ground/lift switch to prevent ground loops.

On stage and in the house

The SDI-ST offers another handy function, which is the fact that its inputs are on the front. You can plug in your instrument directly via the DI, or use the outputs to split the signal, sending one to the FOH, and the other to your amplifier. All you need to connect to the mixing console is an XLR cable (or two). Furthermore, this device is inconspicuous enough to be placed virtually unseen on stage, and its rugged metal housing makes it built to last!

Stagg SDI-ST
Wrote the following about Stagg SDI-ST
