General
Longer cables can cause signal loss. Using a DI box will prevent this, and at the same time, iensure a clear signal is transferred. The MPS DI 100 by Devine is a simple solution and an affordable option. Although this passive DI box has a relatively simple design, it will improve your musical experience. It features three inputs, one of which is a jack which also has a link function. The other two are a XLR and jack. On the front you'll also find an attenuator to either stabilize the volume of the signal, or to reduce it by 20 or 40 dB.
Say no to noise
Use the single XLR output to connect the MPS DI 100 to your mixer, and let this passive DI box work for you! Simply flick the ground-lift switch to eliminate any buzzing or humming caused by ground looping. If you play the keyboard, the link function, that allows you to transfer your stereo signal to a single channel, will become your new best friend!
