General
This 4-channel DI box is the ideal stage assistant. If offers you four different DI boxes, which can all be connected independently, and is a great way to keep all of your DIs within hand's reach for converting unbalanced signals to balanced ones. The Behringer DI 4000 active DI box translates line to microphone signal and vice versa. Moreover, it can also change a guitar signal to a semi-professional line signal.
It's also been designed to fit in a 19-inch rack for ease of use! Another great advantage is that you can connect your guitar amp directly to the DI, for an optimal signal! Systems with up to 3,000 watts can be connected without any problems.

heb wel enig nadeel ondervonden.
Vooral op podium gebruik.
aansluitingen jack in en link bevinden zich vanachter unit.
wat het inpluggen weer wat moeilijker maakt van muziek instrumenten.
waarom hadden ze niet de zelfde lay-out gebruikt als bij het groter broer model de 8000 versie.
voor de rest waren de live artiesten blij dat alles goed klonk.
dus niks slecht hierover.
doet wat hij doen moet.
Apparaat werkt naar behoren en klinkt niet verkeerd.
Eén van de weinig di-boxen geschikt voor 19 inch rack inbouw en voorzien van vu indicatie en eigen gescheiden voeding.
Ik gebruik ze vooral om netjes van gebalanceerd naar ongebalanceerd te gaan welke ik gebruik om oude Dalton lichtsuringen te scheiden van de rest van mijn audiosignalen, die oudere dimmers van die lichtsturingen durven wel eens een brom injecteren via audio, met deze apparaten is dat onmogelijk.
Ik gebruik er 2 en dit al bijna 9 jaar.
Ik gebruik hem om ongebalanceerde audio signalen om te zetten naar geballanceerde signalen voor het aansturen van actieve speakers.
Voorheen had ik last van netstoring welke afkomstig is van een electromotor met frequentie sturing (op 4kHz) van de buurman.
Nu met gebalanceerde kabels en GND lift ingeschakeld is de storing weg.
De geluidskwaliteit is prima, of beter gezegd je merkt niet dat 'ie er tussen zit, behalve dat die irritante storing nu weg is, zo hoort het dus.
