Sony's development team hasn't been resting on its laurels. With Sound Forge Pro 11, they have introduced the eleventh version of a software package that was already quite popular in the 1990s thanks to its great user-friendliness, speed and versatile options. This special download version is ideal for users who need their fix rapidly and would rather bypass the boxed version. The Sony Sound Forge Pro 11 update (download) package is pleasant to work with and exceptionally comprehensive. New features in version 11 include a loudness meter that complies with CALM standards and a one-touch recording function, and the interface and plug-ins have also been updated.

Sony Sound Forge Pro 11 offers a sea of possibilities. What to think of iZotope Nectar Elements, for instance, a package that gives you vocal recordings a tremendous quality boost? Zplane élastique allows for equally high-grade time-stretching with a minimum of artifacts, and Sound Forge is loaded to the brim with other useful features, ranging from reverb to chorus effects and from loop crossfade to spectrum analysis options. The software is fast, easy to operate and offers various practical navigation functions, conveniently linked to short keys and key combinations. Sound Forge Pro 11 supports an astonishing number of file formats, ranging from the familiar to the less commonly used.
