Meet Acid Pro 7, your new creative partner for producing, digital mixing, MIDI sequencing and multi-track recording. This Sony software is suited for music production, recording and post-production applications. Thanks to its transparent layout and uncomplicated controls and operating interface, Acid Pro 7 takes down creative barriers.
24-bit, 192kHz quality is at your disposal while you're recording and playing back your audio tracks. Whether you work in a studio or on location, this production software is a stable platform for both MIDI and audio recording on multiple tracks. During post production, Acid Pro 7 allows you to record and mix in 5.1 surround.
For about a decade now, Acid Pro 7 has been the market leader in loop-based software. Naturally, version 7 of the software features all the core audio functions, including automatic pitch and tempo, real-time loop monitoring, an endless number of audio tracks and the familiar pick/paint/play interface. Additionally, this package contains more than 3,000 Sony Sound Series loops and over 1,000 MIDI files. As soon as you open the box, you can get right down to business.
The MIDI sequencer of this Sony Acid Pro 7 production software package gives you full and total control over everything you play and synchronise. All notes and data can be recorded and processed. Using track envelopes, it's possible to automate and modify modulation, expression, pitch or any other type of MIDI data. MIDI quantisation and an elaborate drum editor are also at your disposal.
A separate mixer is not required to make a great final mix - Acid Pro 7 offers you a digital, fully automated alternative. You're able to specify your audio routings, to assign audio effects to your tracks and to use external hardware effects. The software supports VST, VSTi and DirectX plug-ins and virtual instruments to boot.

Acid pro ziet er lekker strak uit, zonder teveel tierelantijntjes, glimmende buttons etc dingen die je niet nodig hebt, maar barst van de functies. je krijgt er bijna 5 gigabyte aan loops, samples en geluiden bij, ook dls synthesizers. ik herhaal: .dls, en niet.dll.waar cubase mee werkt. ook volledige ondersteuning voor VST's.
Het is een heerlijk produceer programma, alles is makkelijk en snel te leren maar ook een pro moet hier alles in kunnen doen wat nodig is. Hij is ook te gebruiken om video audio mee te bewerken. Hiervoor kun je ook vegas pro voor kopen. ik heb zowel vegas als acid, maar ze bieden beiden voor 40% dezelfde funcites en voor de andere 60% video dan wel audio bewerkings opties.
Als je met de een overweg kan, dan kun je makkelijk met de andere overweg.
Ik heb ontzettend veel met acid pro opgenomen en het voldoet nog steeds, zie hiervoor youtube.com/voxje of myspace.com/annopcatsman1991 voor een kleine greep. let op: oudste lelijk klinkende opnames nog niet met acid opgenomen.
wil je echt 100% compleet zijn dan moet je natuurlijk voor pro tools gaan, hier werken zowat alle professionele producers mij in mijn kennissenkring. het enige minpunt van acid vind ik dat het zo kaal is, je moet nog zoveel synths erbij kopen wil je er digitale genres mee maken. voor opnemen en bewerken van instrumenten zijn mogelijkheedn oneindig.
